YES! Be sure the rings and clips are kept free of any kind of contamination. This also applies to the Castrator and your hands. Keep a bucket of slightly soapy water available to wipe off the Castrator and hands if they become contaminated. The old saying is, “An ounce of prevention will save a pound […]
As far down from the belly as possible. Just slightly above the testicles. Be sure you have both testicles below the band before tightening and inspect after every Castration to ensure the band is administered and placed properly. It will help to work the fatty tissue down prior to placing the band. Do this in […]
Contrary to what you may have heard or been told, the replacement bands are due to a lawsuit that dealt with infringement of use of the original latex bands. Due to a court order, this is all we are allowed to say about it. Now, nothing changes in the operation of the Eze. The replacement […]
This may be a result of several factors. First check to see how old the latex rings are. If they are older than one season, and haven’t been stored properly, this could be a cause. Secondly, if they haven’t been stored properly, being left in the sun or outside with varying temperature, this will deteriorate […]

Sometimes a quick pulling motion will allow the band to come off easier. Continue holding the scrotum until you move the EZE up against the scrotum. It should be as if […]
This is the method I use. Place the Castrator in your armpit and hold it. Make sure the shaft is all the way forward and you have already loaded the clip. Be sure to point the front of the Castrator upwards, as the clip may fall out. Place the ring, (band), on one of the […]
This is a result of the brake slipping. You can adjust this by loosening the lock nut on the 1/4″ screw, above and in front of the handle. Turn in one or two turns and tighten. Repeat this until the slipping stops.
Yes, it is replaceable. You may attain these at an Ace Hardware store or a local hardware store. They are referred as a “Mini Utility Blade”. These will have to be formatted according to the one in the Castrator. Easily done if you have a grinder or you may order these through Cowboy Creations.
Be sure the notch on the clip is facing upwards and outwards from the Castrator. Check to see if the clip is damaged or bent. Sometimes burrs develop in the slot the clips slide into. Take a knife and shave these burrs off or until the clip fits into the slot. Also, if you are […]
